TERMS & CONDITIONS OF YOUR HOLIDAY
Prices are per cottage and are inclusive of all heating ,electricity , bed linen ,WELCOME PACK and VAT@17.5%.
The price does not include towels but they are available at a cost of £4.00 per person per stay
Water is from a private water bore hole and is fully approved.
NON SMOKING.
The cottages are strictly non smoking within the buildings however smoking is allowed within the garden areas.
Holiday start days.
Cottage holidays start days are normally FRIDAYS.Arrival time is between 4-6pm on the agreed date. If you are likely to arrive later then please ring in advance. Cottages must be vacated by 10am on the agreed date of departure. Failure to do so could result in an extra days charge at the proprietors discretion.
Short breaks.
Three night weekend and four night midweek breaks are accepted subject to availability and cost 70% of the weekly rate.
SHORT BREAKS ARE PAYABLE AT TIME OF BOOKING
Pets.
We are sorry but as it is a working farm we are not able to accept pets.
4. Cot, High Chair & Baby Bath Hire.
These must be reserved at the time of booking and are offered at a package rate of £2.50 per night (please note you cannot pay for items individually)
5. Additional Cars. The price of your holiday includes parking for one car per cottage. The charge for additional cars is £5.00 per car per week.This is necessary as parking is limited. This charge may be waived if there is space available.
6. Booking amendments.
We can accept amendments to your booking up 8 weeks before your arrival. For this we charge a £12.00.fee, to cover the administration involved. Transfer of booking is also subject to a £12.00 administration charge. Booking amendments are not accepted after your holiday has started
7. Deposit
A non refundable deposit of £60 per cottage per week, or part week PAYABLE AT TIME OF BOOKING. Balance payable 6 weeks prior to holiday start date.
For bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival the total amount is payable.
Weekend and midweek breaks are payable at time of booking
Non-receipt of the full accommodation charge by the due date may be treated by us as a cancellation of the booking and you will forfeit the total cost of the holiday. The booking will then be subject to the cancellation procedure outlined below
Cancellation.
Provided the cancellation is received not less than eight weeks before the start date of the holiday, only the deposit, less an administration charge of £12.00, will be forfeited. If we receive less than eight weeks notice in writing, you will be liable to pay the total cost of the holiday
8. Bookings are accepted from persons aged 18 or over and must be confirmed in writing.
9. Your responsibility.
The property must be left in a clean and tidy condition; otherwise additional charges will be incurred. You are responsible for the property during your stay. You undertake to report and pay for any damage caused to our property and for any equipment damaged or broken during your stay. We reserve the right to ask you, or any member of your party to leave immediately if your behaviour is likely, in our opinion, to spoil the enjoyment, comfort or safety of others on site. The property, furniture, fixtures, fittings and contents are of a high standard and in order to maintain this we ask that at the end of your stay the property is left clean and in a reasonable state.
10. Breakages
The hirer will be responsible for the cost of any breakages, damage or exceptional cleaning costs occasioned by any member of the party.
11. Maximum number of occupants.
The number of people in the property must not exceed the number stated in the booking form.
12.Liability.The proprietors are not responsible, and cannot accept liability, for any injury sustained by any person or damage to or loss of any property brought onto the farm. Glebe Farm Cottages are on a working farm and it must be accepted that guests are not allowed to wander around the working part of the farm as the farm is a Dangerous place.
13. Guests.For the enjoyment of all guests on the site the number of visiting guests is strictly limited to a maximum of four guests and one car. Guest cars will be requested to park just beyond the Lavender field if all cottages are full. Dogs are not permitted. The behaviour of the guests is the responsibility of the occupier. Please ensure that there is no smoking within the cottages. Visitors must be registered prior to arrival to ensure that security and the safety of others is maintained.
